Product Introduction
KiBox ® Engine Indication - A flexible combustion analysis system for vehicles and test benches can test engine efficiency maximization, determine resource saving potential, calculate key combustion analysis parameters in real-time, continuously monitor limits, backup data, and identify faults early.
If it is impossible to measure and analyze the complex high dynamic processes inside the combustion chamber, it is impossible to achieve the progress of today's engine technology. Developers must respond quickly, and when adjusting the engine or troubleshooting, they need a simple and direct way to verify the test bench results in road tests. Similarly, application engineers require a vehicle tool that can perform its excellent functions and computing capabilities before, during, and after measurement. Maximizing engine efficiency, determining resource conservation potential, real-time calculation of key combustion analysis parameters, continuous monitoring of limits, data backup, and early identification of faults.
Using KiBox for Combustion Analysis
KiBox is a complete combustion analysis system that includes data collection and evaluation. It can provide detailed information about the combustion quality in each cylinder and provide real-time access to all relevant key data for the engine development process, synchronized with other measurement data and ECU control variables. KiBox is designed for users who require information on injection valve start-up, ignition, and combustion, but can also serve as a standard standalone system for vehicle or test bench engine indication.

Complete combustion analysis system: cylinder pressure sensor and adapter (1) (such as measuring spark plug and glow plug adapter), current clamp for measuring injection and ignition timing (2), crankshaft angle adapter (3), GB Ethernet connection (4), and KiBox (5).
Combustion analysis, detonation control, and monitoring
KiBox provides users with information about injector needle valve opening, ignition, and combustion, such as using ECU calibration system to optimize engine operation MAP. The INCA system processes and visualizes data. On the engine test bench, KiBox can provide basic parameters for engine control and knock control. When used as a monitoring system, KiBox can detect limit values exceeding limits, notify the control system, and store raw data before and after events.
Vehicle mounted testing system
The compact design, modular in vehicle testing accessories, and sensor connections on the front panel of the system make KiBox very suitable for in vehicle applications. All measurement parameters can be set on a clear, intuitive, and convenient user interface.
Support PiezoSmart ® , INCA Integration
KiBox supports automatic sensor recognition (PiezoSmart) ®) Function. With the help of electronic data sheets (TEDS), signals can be automatically parameterized; Record and store sensor operating time for diagnosis.
CrankSmart ® Achieve optimal data quality
Challenge: Optimize the measurement data quality under transient engine conditions with strong torsional vibration. Result: Experts from Qishile collaborated with the Stuttgart Automotive Engineering and Vehicle Engine Research Institute (FKFS) to develop an innovative and time-saving method: CrankSmart ®, Therefore, KiBox can use the vehicle's built-in corner sensor for combustion analysis.
Flexible interface to ensure compatibility
Using KiBox for measurement and analysis configuration is very simple and can quickly adapt to personalized needs. The universal test bench interface means that KiBox can be integrated into commonly used control systems such as Morphee, PUMA Open, and Stars.
Add virtual channel
KiBox supports virtual channels, so there are many available channels. Multiple ignition or injection signals from multiple cylinders can now be connected to a current probe input port, allowing for the calculation of ignition or injection timing for all cylinders.
